Morris totally rocks. Alfa second. Wait. Maybe the other way around. Tough call.

So if it were 13 for the price of 12 it would be a Baker's Dozen; so this is 7 for for 6 -- A Brewer's 6 pack?

SwapMeats first car memory, family of five moving from London to Devon along the motorway in an overloaded 12 year old Morris Traveller - with wood rust and tin worm. Beverly Hill Billies UK style.

@SwapMeat: Will do,i've seen plenty of cars worthy of sending in. I may have to stalk some to see where they park up,& hope they don't get ratty with me taking pics.

@Murilee Martin: True,i'm guessing a lot of the American cars that never get seen here are probably a regular site in their homeland.

If i remember correctly i can't take pics on a drive way,is that right? As there is a guy a mile or so from my house with a garden full of Lancias.

@layabout met the real Santa: Capturing proper DOTSBEs is a lot harder than it looks; i only send maybe 10% of the cars I photograph to Murilee and then he usually takes an additional 50% out before posting. So good luck finding a beaut'

Man, I love that Jag! The Bentley's incongruous rear-end earns it an honorable mention as well.

Maybe I missed it in the description, but what kind of Alfa is that? It sure is pretty. Really classic looking.

@ILoveWhatYouHate..09 Matrix: Giulia, there must be something wrong because in a climate as they have in Scotland , you probably could hear it rust.

That "Opel Monza" sure looks familiar. We have something like it in the US. It goes by the name of Pontiac J2000 and Oldsmobile Firenza. I didn't realize we exported our crappy J-cars to Europe. No wonder the world community doesn't like us. War crimes indeed. And I thought Scotland was an ally.

@jedchev: Though the Monza (and its Vauxhall twin, the Royale) looks similar to the front-drive J-body 3-door hatches we got over here, it's actually based on the Opel Senator, with a straight six and rear-drive!

I'd totally bring one over under the DOT's 25-years-and-over exemption rule if I had the dough/room/time/etc.

@Tomsk the red-nosed reindeer: So is that a Europe only straight six? I wasn't aware of a GM straight six between the Stovebolt and the DOHC unit in the Trailblazers.
