    I discovered that I can't even walk normally and talk on the cellphone at the same time. I go slower, I stop, depending on what I'm hearing, and generally dawdle. I notice other people do that too.

    Shit, I can't even text while outside a car.


    I've sent exactly one of the fucking things in my life, and hated every second of it. Used the maximum number of characters, perfect punctuation, and only made one spelling error. Took several minutes.


    I'm three weeks from turning 18.

    I never understood, at my last, very short-lived worthless-ass job, why those morons insisted on texting each other instead of just USING THE FUCKING PHONE. While they claimed they didn't want you doing it while driving, there wasn't an alternative, unless you never left the parking garage.


    I know it's been said before, but text-messaging is akin to going back to the telegraph. What's the point, idiots?

    In order to send a text message, you have to have a cell phone. In order for the person you're texting to receive said message they have to have a cell phone.


    You both have cell phones... f**king call them.

    @What a couple having an affair in a car might look like: ...I text a lot. I use proper grammar, proper punctuation, and proper spelling, except when omitted for comedic effect. It's easier to say "meet me at superior grill at 10, we will have much margaritas" than to go through all the Hello? Hey, what's goin' on? Oh, nothing, playing some Zelda, what's up with you? Oh, I'm going to meet Hollie and Kat and some others for margaritas at Superior in a couple hours. Oh, yeah? Who else is gonna be there? Oh, I don't know, maybe Jessie and Geoff. Have you talked to Andrew? and so on.


    Texting is efficient.

    The only time I ever texted while driving I ran my car into a snow bank. I'm literally a safer driver while doing e-brake turns in the snow than I am while texting.
