We find the dark silver, a.k.a. Silverstone, on the sedan to be quite fetching. If we were forking over $54,575 for the sedan that's the one we'd probably get.

Well, at least until the BMW Blue version comes out. [BMW via EDBMW]

<![CDATA[First E93 M3 Convertible Spied In Shop?]]> Here's a bit of mystery for you, the sporty motormen at the M3Post forum captured an image of what appears to be an E93 M3 convertible. But this ain't your mama's as-of-yet-unreleased M3. This one comes complete with 21" AC Schnitzer wheels and the license plate is from Heinsberg and the shots are from Aachen, where AC Schnitzer is based. But this isn't just a regular 3-series convertible mistaken for an M3, this is definitely an M.

Given the lack of badges, the proximity and the wheels we're guessing that this is an early M3 convertible given to the folks at AC Schnitzer in advance to pretune for when the M3 convertible makes an official debut. (h/t Jason from Bimmerpost.com) [M3Post]

<![CDATA[2009 BMW M3 Coupe Convertible]]> We know BMW plans on dropping a hard-top 3 Series Coupe cabrio and we've been told it'll be coming to the Geneva Auto Show this winter. Heck, we've even seen some spy shots to prove it. But none have come this up-close and personal as these shots taken by young spy photographer RoAnSa. We're now very much looking forward to Geneva and seeing the E93 M3 unveiled in person.

<![CDATA[Spy Photos: BMW E93 Convertible]]>

A reader of Bimmer board E90Post caught sight of the new E93 convertible (w/retractable hardtop) having its bell rung on the autobahn. The droptop will be next in line among the new range to be unveiled, likely at the Paris show, ahead of a market intro in 2007. [Thanks to Tom for the tip.]
