    You know I was impressed and could see some uses for this until I realized one thing. That 8 foot bed does nothing that wouldn't be better done by a trailer.

    Would be easier to load and drive. It would get much better fuel economy (load would be lower less drag). And could be left behind when not needed. #pickuptrucks

    This is Dunkel's Part I video (over 8 mins. long) demonstrating this behemoth's exterior functions of loading a Jeep and its leveling jacks. There is a separate Part 2 video (over 4 mins. long) which shows the interior and living quarters plus exterior storage compartments. #pickuptrucks

    @Ben Wojdyla: I saw that. The funnels are retractable for extra clearance. Plus they waited for the right tide, and another report said they planned to increase speed (!) when they went under because it made the ship ride lower in the water. #pickuptrucks
