"Based on an '84 Camaro convertible..." isn't a phrase I tend to associate with dreams. PTSD-related flashbacks, perhaps, but not dreams.

Wait, did anyone catch the part about "this is a rolling prototype"? He's trying to make more. I'm forming a posse, if you're not with me than you're against me.

    Dream Ryder?

Possibly up to and including the time of Mermaids, but definitely not around the latter "wacked-out, compulsive shoplifting" stage.

@Ash78: I might push the time frame up to Reality Bites.

This car is probably the artist's rendition of the "wacked-out, compulsive shoplifting" satge.

Now, see, this just had so much potential to it. Minus the obnoxious details like the fins, fangs, etc. the general shape itself is a good start. I would have gone with a smoother, simpler front end treatment, though.

This, though is just customization gone wrong. Not horribly, terribly, unfixably wrong a la the Honda 5-series, but wrong.

Well with this, the tally is up to 37 for "bad ideas executed really well."

The count stands at 3,467,872 for "good ideas executed poorly."

I would say that there is still some catching up to do, but the world really doesn't need any more of either.

It reminds me of Cartman and his Trapper Keeper, assimilating everything in its path until its original form is barely recognizable, and the way it sort of flows around the license plates makes me think of small objects poking out of an obese person's fat folds.
