For any other BMW M1, I would be more than willing to sell of any number of body parts (so long as I can keep both legs and one arm) for a chance at owning, but not this one.
As has been mentioned, this car has been changing owners frequently in the last few years and looks to have been ridden-hard and put away wet.
The body kit is very cheap looking and in bad shape (check out the chunks missing from the chin of the air dam). The paint job is atrocious and unflattering to the car's shape. (Not to mention that the purple is far too dark.) The Qatari-custom interior is gawd-awful.
And, now, in addition to all those pre-existing problems, Munich Evolution has seen fit to plaster their logomark decals all over the car's fenders, rear quarter panels, windshield and windows.
When I buy a $30k vehicle, I insist that the dealer remove any seller logos; for $150k, plastered with all those "stickers" I'd expect a down-to the-sheet metal OEM repaint.
@sharkd: That "purple" looks an awful lot like black in every picture I've ever seen of this car. I'm sticking with my earlier statement that these are Martini colors.

Yeah it's ugly but it's an M1 and that makes it rarer than hen's teeth. And I obviously have no problem driving an ugly car. Would I rather have a stone stock one? Absolutely. Would I kick this out of bed for eating crackers? Don't think so Tim...
This car has already been posted for sale on Jalopnik twice in the past few years. I said it then, and I'll say it now: I've seen this car, and it is a silly, gaudy bowl of rice. The paint isn't that great, the interior is hideous, the stripes are inauthentic and goofy, and the body kit is totally uncalled for, regardless of its racing heritage. The engine bay looks ricey, yet somehow neglected. The price seems to come down every time it's listed. That and the fact that its owners seem to be very eager to get rid of it should be a tip that it isn't too great a car. Finally, it belonged to a prime minister of Qatar. Generally speaking, people who buy cars with oil money aren't known for their good taste or mechanical sympathy. I say crack pipe, and I'll say it once more when this car comes up for sale another six months down the line.
The side fins on the wing don't fit the character of this vehicle - they are rounded, but there isn't any line deviating from straight on the rest of the car (wheel wells obviously excepted). This makes me question the stated authenticity and progeny of the overall scheme. Even if it is authentic, it still seems a design oversight.
However, I dig the stripes AND the abso-fab matching seats. The rest of the body kit is appropriate and authentic to the period.
I can't say crack right off, but I'd need more research before trading in my house. And yet, even considering that for a bimmer is worth a "Nice Price" click.
As Mr_Sives_Remotoc pointed out below, we've seen this car before (at least twice) [jalopnik.com][jalopnik.com] As I pointed out last time, these aren't Motorsport colors (M colors are red, blue and purple), they're Martini Racing colors, although the livery seems to be unique to this car.

@Mike the Dog: The price seems to be dropping. Makes me wonder if the car has some issues. Hemmings Sports and Exotic recently had an article on the M1. Most of the parts are still available through BMW Heritage. Not the first car I would spend $150K on, but nice price.
This is like just short of owning an outright collectible racecar ... so yeah, the price is always going to be inflated over what the car is worth. ... But you're not paying for sheetmetal here ... what you're buying here, is a towering beacon of your manhood, reminding others how puny and insignificant they all are! Plant your right foot down firmly as the feeble masses cower and quail in fear! Watch them stare in awe as your howling exhaust pipes proclaim your dominion over their pathetic little world of hybrids and minivans!

i would definitely loosen my morals for a red or white M1.

@sharkd: Here's what a "procar-style" M1 should look like.

@sharkd: And here's what a procar chin should look like.
This one is smooth; the Qatari M1 looks like it's been used to regrade a gravel parking lot.
