It features Megan Fox stripping, Bumblebee crying and Optimus Prime getting a kick-to-the-face by Devastator. Robogasm? Yes.

<![CDATA[So That's Why Devastator's Head Lights Up Like A Green Jack-O-Lantern]]> We've seen the the Constructicon Devastator before, but never like this. Some new Transformers concept art explains why his face is glowing. Plus pictures of the Transformers' devil-bot Fallen.

Thanks to this beautiful concept art discovered by TFO8, we can now see that the Devastator's head opens up into a giant grinder vortex, naturally. So that explains everything, right?

I'm sorry, but why do you need to grind something if you're going to put it into another vortex anyway? It looks pretty absurdly intense but I'm excited to see him give Optimus Prime the vortex for a mouth. . Look at him go, on the left.

In other botty news here are some beautiful images of the evil Lucifer Transformer Fallen, Skidz and Mudflap and Sideswipe.

<![CDATA[Transformers 2 Devastator Revealed, Gives Us Nightmares]]> We got our first glimpse of the massive multi-robot Decepticon, Devastator, during the Super Bowl teaser for Michael Bay's upcoming explosive robogasm, Transformers 2: Revenge Of The Fallen. Here's the scary Constructicon in full view.

It looks as if they're all there, but if you don't remember from your hazy drug-induced childhood, here's a list of all the Decepticons needed to transform into this hell-spawned massive robot and their original body locations.

Bonecrusher (Demolitions)
He transforms into a bulldozer.
He forms the left arm of Devastator.

Scavenger (Mining and Salvage)
He transforms into an excavator.
He forms the right arm of Devastator.

Scrapper (Construction Engineer)
He transforms into a wheeled front-load shovel.
He forms the right leg of Devastator

Hook (Surgical Engineer)
He transforms into a crane.
He forms the head and shoulders of Devastator.

Long Haul (Transport)
He transforms into a dump truck.
He forms the lower torso of Devastator.

Mixmaster (Materials Fabrication)
He transforms into a concrete mixer truck.
He forms the left leg of Devastator.

<![CDATA[Transformers 2 Caught At Air Force Base, Chevy Beat Bot To Be "Skids"]]> Looks like the crew of Transformers 2 was caught on-set in Arizona at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base along with a couple of the more robotic cast members — albeit while in their vehicle mode get-ups. Based on the plates, it looks like we're also able to put a name to the bot who will be played by the Chevy Beat: Skids. Despite our best efforts, we couldn't decipher the plate on the Chevy Trax, but that's okay because the upgraded Chevy Camaro will still be Bumblebee, and that's the only one we really care about anyway. (Thanks for the pics Matthew)

<![CDATA[Constructicon Vehicle Modes From New Transformers Movie Possibly Revealed]]> There was a report not too long ago about the possibility of Devastator showing up in the new movie Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Now it seems an Insider over at TFW200 claims they've got the laundry list of construction vehicles that'll make up the Constructicons, who together will form the mega-bot. If the list is accurate, and the insider hasn't yet been wrong, let it not be said that director Michael Bay thinks small, as the combined weight of these behemoths of industry tip the scales at well over 2.5 million pounds. That's a whole lot of pissed off robot. The entire list — there's apparently seven of them — along with images of the monster vehicular modes, below the jump.

O&K/Terex RH400 - Hydraulic Mining Excavator - (In red)

Tipping the scales at a sveltd 1,553,220 lbs, the RH400 is easily the heavyweight of the group, and in fact it's the largest hydraulic shovel in the world. This mining excavator is so big it actually has a rest area next to the operator's cab complete with microwave, coffee machine, a refrigerator and sleeping bunk. Given the size, this baby is probably a torso and an arm, a big monster arm at that, with that chomping shovel end too.

Caterpillar 992G - Wheel Loader - (In yellow)

Introduced in 1990, the 992G was for a time the largest articulated earth mover in the world. Completely outfitted, the 992G weighs in at over 204,000 lbs and can take 16-cubic-yard bites out of the earth. Perhaps useful as a leg, but really, a giant loader is useful anywhere.

Caterpillar 773B - Dump Truck - (In green)

The Cat 773B is a fairly standard heavy-duty off-road dump truck and can tote loads of about 50 tons all while tipping the scales at a scant 85,687 lbs. Positively gaunt compared to that hydraulic shovel. We're betting on a leg, perhaps some kind of transforming weapon, but with Bay, you can never really tell.

Mack Cement Mixer - (In silver and white)

Nothing to see here. It's a Mack cement truck, and considering the size of this thing relative to some of the other equipment, we're assuming Bay is using the Mack as a robot foot.

Komatsu HD465-7 - Articulated Dump Truck - (red)

The Komatsu HD465-7 is a step up in the dump truck department. With a 715 HP diesel engine and a 61-ton capacity, this 94,360 lb hauler is nothing to sneeze at; probably a leg or an arm, judging from the scale of the other vehicles.

Kobelco CK2500 - Truss Crane - (In yellow)

Able to dead-lift 250 tons, the CK2500 is certainly capable of some wanton destruction. We've got one thing in mind for this 458,600 lb crane: giant robotic mace arm. Oh, yeah, talk about Bay-style explosions and destruction; this thing is practically made for it.

Caterpillar D9L - Bulldozer - (In beige)

We can think of nothing better to act as a head for this brute than a Caterpillar D9L. This 107,000 lb earth mover is the choice of the world's militaries for mine clearing and heavy road-building operations. The D9L also possesses that which all truly bad-ass characters require — a strong jaw-line, or in this case, blade-line.

<![CDATA[Transformers 2 Corvette Centennial Concept Character Named "Sideswipe"]]> After revealing the identity of the Corvette Centennial Concept that had been spotted on the set of Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen and giving you close-up detail shots, we've now got word that the Corvette Concept is not merely a car, but a robot in disguise named Sideswipe. Originally a Lamborghini in the old cartoons, Sideswipe is a rule-bending but loyal Autobot warrior out to take down the evil Decepticons. Sideswipe's latest identity was uncovered at the recent Hasbro Licensing Summit, along with some other T2 details.

Insiders report further confirmation that Devastator will be in the new movie, the Optimus Prime figure will be a new mold with a new transformation, and that Megatron will indeed be a tank. Now if we could just get the trailer unhitched from the next Star Trek, we'd have something. [via TFW2005]

<![CDATA[Report: Devastator, Seven Constructicons To Appear In Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen]]> In case red n' blue semis and military six-by-sixes didn't offer big enough robo-thrills in the last installment of Transformers, we've now read a report Devastator, a robot formed by "seven Constructicons" (different pieces of construction equipment), will be one of the Decepticons in next summer's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Given Michael Bay's desire to keep giant transforming robots as realistic as possible, that many vehicles could yield a positively monstrous robot. A rendering of what "Long Haul," one of the seven, might look like, is further fanning the flames in the 'former forums already overrun with rampant flame-wars over the veracity of the claim. Of course, in the giant robot arms race, if one side has giant merging robot capabilities, you have to assume the other will step up to the plate in kind. Can somebody say "Aerialbots?" Hit the jump for the full rendering of what "Long Haul" could look

<![CDATA[General Motors, Army Combine Forces On Arizona Test Track - To Build A Transformer?!?]]> Word has just come our way the General and the real makers of Generals, the US Army, are working together to build something together deep in the Arizona desert. They've signed an agreement for GM to construct a $100 million test track on the Army's proving grounds. In addition to building it, the 50-year lease requires the automaker to operate and manage the site. In return for building and managing the as-of-now not-yet-built test track at the Yuma Proving Grounds, GM will pay the Army $10.6 million to build facilities for heavy military testing. OK, on the upside GM will probably be getting the secrets to making the new Camaro transform into Bumblebee out of this deal, because if they aren't then the deal seems to be simply sucktastic for them. Or maybe we've seen Transformers too many times.
