If you want to turn Kei-vertible to something interesting, this is the way to go.

The history check link on the eBay ad says this thing is a 1992 Rover Metro GTI, is that even possible? That would be one hell of a hacksaw job, it sure looks a lot more like that Daihatsu. I suppose anything is possible with someone trying to emulate such an unattainable supercar as an Audi TT...

@optional flavor: Yep, it IS based on a Metro. They junk the bodywork and just use the dashboard, engine, front and rear sub-frames and suspension units.

There's loads of them about, and they're all horrible.

Especially with Audi badges nailed onto them.

I think that's classic eBay spelling--but I was shocked to see this came from the UK.

OK, it might be cuter in person, if only it weren't trying to look like a TT. Just go ahead and make it a Barbie car or something. But those panel gaps on the front would embarrass a Citro 2-CV.

Also, if your headlights are a little low and slightly askew, you can get surgery for that now.

Looks like they did the styling all with the bumper skins.

Better to get one of those cute Nissan retromobiles the Euros rock.

It's a cute enough car, and once the buyer removes the f*ckin' Audi badges, it'll be merely reminiscent of a TT.

The ad copy, however, lacks the requisite ALL CAPS to go with the horrid grammar, and spelling errors.

If it's supposed to be a "replica", shouldn't it look at least something like the car it's impersonating? I mean, the only similarity is the Audi logo on the grille.

@Deartháir - Now with more SingoFinger™!: The overall shape of the car is remarkably similar. Think if they smallerified a TT.

@Plecostomus needs GALVANIZED SCREWS: But it's really NOT similar! It's closer to a Miata than a TT. The TT looks like a semi-circle, this looks like a bunch of random curves stuck together with duct tape.

But you get major bonus points for the use of "smallerified".

Or, you could just buy a Copen and cope with the fact that your life sucks.
