    How are they getting 35 mpg out of a car with 261 hp? It's the diesel I suppose. Wish we could get some grunt/mpg like that.

    @Saboth: Keep in mind, that's not EPA ratings, and that the 260hp Cobalt SS is rated for 22/30mpg. It's not umpossible.

    @Saboth: Um, it's not a diesel, just a turbocharged direct-injected "petrol" engine. But I agree that we should be getting more fancy engines like this over here. Not all Americans are cubic inch-loving, slushbox-driving, hatchback-hating hillbillies.

    I had a rental SEAT for a three-week drive around western Europe and really liked it.

    I have always liked the post-VW takeover hatches they produce. Perhaps it is the attractiveness of the unattainable.

    I went to school with a Leon Cupra. He always smelled like pool water and cheese and he had bad acne. I wouldn't have called him fast, either. He could burp the theme to Star Wars, though, so he had that goin for him. um. yeah.

    Looks alright, except for the color, and SEAT's proprietary grille shape. Hard to argue with 130 bhp/liter. But is it built on the newest Golf platform, or on an older version?

    @Scandinavian Flick: We don't have any JiBs up here in MI. I savored it whenever I was in AZ, CA etc. But nothing beats a proper double-double from an In-n-Out tho. I love that place,
