It seems that the conceptual
exhaust burger grill is definitely not a new idea. Though we'd like to think exhaust burgers are a product of our scientific breakthroughs, this scan from a 1930 issue of Modern Mechanics proves otherwise. This exhaust cooking idea from the 1930's is unique because it's a steam pressure cooker. The heat from the exhaust is capable of heating and cooking the foods. You may be able to cook cans of beans and foil-wrapped vegetables directly on your engine, but what about meat? Until now, it's been difficult to grill up a good burger on the road, but this conceptual design is trying to prove otherwise. As part of a "Dining in 2015" design competition, a young lad dreamed up a burger press that uses the heat from exhaust to impart a tasty char.

where's the shrimp?
Our boy Hof of the down-under persuasion sent us this custom barbie built from a classic Holden Monero GTS. Looks like it's loaded with kangaroo sausage and koala tarts (aww, c'mon) but not a shrimp in sight. Dammit, what good is a cliche if it's not run around the track once in a while.
