This is inversely proportional. A smaller hybrid, leads to an increase in overall smugness.
Here’s the official equation:
Smugness= ((750 lbs/MC) + (5 ft/LC))*100=percent smugness
Where MC=Mass of Car in lbs and LC = LC in ft.
For example if a car weighs 1400 lbs. and is 12 ft long then:
750 lbs*smug/1400lbs + 5 ft*smug/12 ft= (.54 smug+.42 smug)*100=96% smug
Whereas:
If a car if a car weighs 2500 lbs and is 18 ft long then
750 lbs*smug/2500lbs + 5 ft*smug/18 ft= (.3 smug+.27 smug)*100=57% smug
*This does not figure in pure battery power for propulsion.
