    So is it made from 2219-T6/-T62 or 6013-T6/-T62. I simply must know! I guess they need to do some post weld heat treat. Sorry, I deal with aerospace aluminums.

    Neat picture. The other shots in the series are worth checking out. The mantis is entertaining.

    @Ash78: as an Audi owner.... i find this extremely....and annoyingly...... sad but true :( i still love my A3 its like the new Fiat i love her for her faults :P

    @Detroit Velvet Smooth aka Panzerwagon: I just had my B5's emission codes cleared yesterday. Seems like one of my three O2 sensors or two cats is starting to fail.

    That'll be an electrical tape repair directly to the CEL ;)

    P1105 - Remove engine, replace O2 sensor
    P1144 - Remove engine, replace air filter
    P1173 - Remove engine, replace throttle actuation potentiometer
    P1338 - Remove engine, replace camshaft position sensor
    P1666 - Remove engine, curse at it, sell car
