I have to say I still don't love that thing's nose. :( The rest of the car's gorgeous but I just don't get how you guys can tolerate that face that only a mother could love. It looks like a Pontiac Solstice in the front :(
I'll drive it before I criticize it; it's an Alfa.
One never knows with those whether they are going to be a babe or a bitch until one whips them passionately around a few curves. It's the automotive equivalent of the movie Sybil.
I don't think I'd feel comfortable leaving my first-off-the-line Alfa 8C at a commuter train station parking lot while I'm at work in the city all day. If that's what's going on here.
@SCROGGS!: Having often used the Rye Metro North parking lot, I can assure you that the Alfa is parked as far away from averyone else as you can get. He's as nervous as you are.
@syrax: Exactly how is it out of proportion? The fatter uglier Brera i agree is an ugly pig. I only like 3 or 4 Alfa's & only this one out of the new stuff.

I can confirm that it is indeed the property of James Glickenhaus. According to him, it is painted P4/5 red.

The one feature I love most about the 8C , however, is the crackling exhaust note when letting off the throttle. All cars should do that.

This is a very pleasant sorbet after the bad-taste of that GM news this morning.

FWIW, I love the older Spiders. I'm just not feeling the newer Jellybeans. They look like bad Ferrari kits to me.
