The airport race, while of questionable entertainment, showed, at minute seven of the show, how good BTCC drivers are at vehicle control. They guy driving the bendy-bus, being pushed by a truck, on a wet track, managed to kinda hold it together.

Not at all bad for a vehicle hinged in the middle.

I guess my FWD all motor "drag racing" experiences are pretty much crap compared to this stuff.

Talks about Freedoms. Needs more Dubya.

But not too terrible an ad, as long as it's not being aimed at us Americans. Would confuse the hell out of my next door neighbors.

It's an unconventional approach, but given Chrysler's dismal state, why not try something different? RE: What else can they quickly pull off the shelf?

The question is whether American car buyers give a rip about anything outside their borders. Most probably don't. However, Fiat needs to rebrand Chrysler as a source of internationally flavored cars, and this is a quick and easy way to start changing perceptions.

Matt, as a taxpayer, my primary concern is getting Chrysler back on its feet. If it takes a foreign ad shop to do it, what's the problem? The Americans had their chance and blew it.

Burma must be so scared right now, I mean, I would be too if there was an army of 300s, Sebrings, Calibers and Nitros coming to my house.

This is definitely worse than nukes.

PS This is a great resolution by the UN to get her released.

That Lancia commercial is genius. Feign global responsibility by using a convenient martyr from a politically irrelevant country. Emotional pull, sales, ta-da.

Now if the Dalai Lama or any one of a hundred or so Chinese dissenters was featured in that commercial they'd have a true hot potato on their hands. Not. a. chance.

I dunno. Cars busting through walls is always cool with me. Just needed to change the music to something badass like AC/DC's "Big Gun", and get rid of the narration

They should just shorten the ad by a ton and show them getting out of the cars and the narrator says.
"The Chrysler 300 the car nobel prize winners smarter than you drive."

Socialist motivators for the new Socialist Motors. It's extra bad when it's coming from Fiat.

Oh, and you know what happens in a merger. Platform sharing and all that.

Apparently marketing campaigns too. Here's the identical ad, but featuring the Lancia Delta instead.
