According to AutoCar, Citroën now plans to build it. We may have to move to France.

Coming out of the Geneva Motor Show are some pretty substantial rumors that Citroën will build its GTbyCITROËN Concept shown at last years Paris Auto Show. The concept, designed with the help of the Polyphony Digital Gran Turismo design team, would come to market with a very limited production run.

Citroën big boss, Vincent Besson told the magazine:

"We are now thinking of a limited run, possibly as many as 20 units."

If this is in fact true, we look forward to seeing the GTbyCITROËN sitting in some mad man's car collection since it'll likely never get driven. Will it sound like the 780 horsepower Millenium Falcon shown in Gran Turismo or will it scream bloody murder from a monster V8? That all depends on whether Citroën can develop the concept's proposed quad-electric motor powertrain, but we're guessing it will either receive a Ford- or GM-sourced V8 - LS9 anyone??

Driving The GTbyCITROËN - It Might Help If You Can Understand French:

We think they may have drank a few too many Ketel One Citroen martinis, but we'll keep you up to date when they sober up and stop telling us that they love us.

<![CDATA[Citroen GT Edges Closer To Reveal In Drop-Dead Sexy Teaser Video]]> We were really pulling for the Lamborghini Estoque to be the show stopper at this year's Paris Motor Show, but with this teaser video for the Citroen GT, we don't see how that's going to be possible. With one fell swoop, the concept from Citroen went from a novelty car designed for the digital world of Grand Turismo 5: Prologue to a mouth-watering piece of supercar design. This thing does sting ray-inspired styling better than an actual sting ray. We want it out now; we want it in our garage. Oh and Lamborghini, if you're listening, we'd be happy to entertain your next volley in the escalating teaser wars. Don't take our word for it: Check out the video and the stills below.

<![CDATA[Citroen Reveals Yet Another GT Concept Teaser]]> It's time for today's flash of Citroen side-boob as the French automaker teases us with yet another glimpse of the GT Concept set to debut at the Paris Motor Show next month. Here we have a rear three-quarter shot showing knife-edge taillights, a continuation of the gaping lower-body ductwork and some pretty meaty looking decklid gills. We'll go ahead and draw the logical conclusion that Citroen's supercar has a mid-mounted engine — we're just not sure what kind. Judging by those huge lower vents, we're thinking gas turbine. Huge, afterburning gas turbine. [via WCF]

<![CDATA[Citroen GT Concept, A... Umm... White Car, Headed To Paris]]> Citroen has decided to get in on the slow teaser reveal with its GT concept, scheduled to debut at the Paris Motor Show next month, followed by an as-reported appearance in Gran Turismo Prologue on PS3. We know it's a car and it's white — and that's about the extent of things. Well, that's not entirely true. Based on the car's profile and front air dam, it almost looks like our favorite modified Nova, but we're confident the staid draftsmen at Citroen wouldn't go for any kind of crazy styling shenanigans.
