Good news, I can probably skip a tranny. I reckon it's got enough torque to yank just about anything I might find off the line and keep on tugging right up to cruisin velocity.

I don't think the clip showed the engine operating up in its power band, or at WOT. Must have been pretty loud inside that can.

You wouldn't want one of your timing chains to be a cog off. I'm glad I don't have to wrench on that, particularly in the confines of a tank! The exhaust sounds distinctly agricultural, so it just wouldn't fit into my plans.

And are all the carbs sitting up there at the top? Wouldn't that give different throttle responses due to the unequal intake runners, causing unbalanced power curves for each of the banks? So many questions. . .
