@FromaBuick6: They do seem to have a bit of the PlaySkool rotomold vibe about them. I think it's the monochrome. Hopefully, they won't seem that way when you start seeing them one at a time, out in the wild.
@FromaBuick6: Flat colors and the gloomy Canadian clouds kill it. I am frustrated by the color choices though. No blue color at all for the SS? Nonsense!
...and there they shall stay for many a month, possibly year. Or perhaps GM will rent out a gigantic cargo ship, or maybe the Nurburgring or a similar track for storage.
If these are production Camaros, how come they aren't accompanied by a GM "First Camaro rolls off the line! Look how awesome we are! Please buy a car! Please!" press release?

@d3c509b: They think there is, at least, after Transformers. Personally with all the Bumblebee paraphenalia out there though, Yellow would be the last one I'd get.
At first, I mistook the Onstar stickers on the side glass for 0% financing promotions, and I thought sweeeeeet!I then realized it was Onstar and the chubby subsided. It was good for a second there though.
@Alfisted: A mullet of Camaros? Dangit, I was trying so hard not to make a mullet comment, and then I saw some mullets up above, and now I can't stop saying mullet! Quick, where's that StaGT-R again? I need to clear my brain.
@Alfisted: "In related news, reports show a bitchin' of Camaros ran over this Oshawa man's neighbor earlier this afternoon. He declined to comment and instead mumbled something about driving up from the Bahamas."
@SuzanneD: The Camaro SS is considered a regular production version of that car. Unlike say the CTS-V which is a special version of the CTS created by that group. Also as I understand the CTS-V and Cobalt SS will stick around cause they are already engineered and in production.
@Pessimippopotamus will steal you a ★ for 50 coins: I dunno, having seen them (almost) side-by-side last weekend, I can tell you, the Mustang is a much cleaner looking design. The Camaro, in person, suffers the same large, slightly bloated feeling as the Challenger. Both look good in photos, but nowhere near as good in person.
I have to admit, the Challenger looks bloated. Camaro, I thought didn't. (I saw the pre-production car in person) Although I have to say, it is quite big.

I just don't see the appeal. These cars already look dated. Maybe that's because I've been spammed with Camaro propaganda for a while now.
03/09/09
I'll give you a meh meh for these cars.
What is the appeal? There isn't a decent line on them.
And you know they are going to handle like garbage.
Hideous!

And living in the Bay Area, I think I may as well just get a freakin' RV. It'd be easier to park than one of these behemoths.
