@jduffy13: That's the point though. Greenies in general, and Prius drivers specifically are VERY annoying. If they would just go away and die, the world would be a better, happier place.
Once again, I learn that there are all kinds of amazing and strange passions being played out in workshops, garages and basements that I know nothing about. And now the cult of the air compressed miniature engine. These guys must be so glad the interwebz got invented.
Maybe in the future you can get one of these as an artificial heart:
"What-cha got in there? That's a helluva scar."
"Well, I went for the big block V-8, I got the arteries for it."
"Damn. I got stuck with 4 banger. Doc said my transmission is shot and couldn't take the strain."
"Ever hear Joe? Poor guy. Got a Wankel. Sounds weird as hell.."
My high school machine shop project was building a miniature boxer twin steam engine scaled up from plans for a single. It putts along quite nicely at ~5psi. Long term I'd like to build a boxer 4 or 6 (or maybe an H or radial 12 if I get really crazy) but that's a home machine shop away from reality right now.
@dialing_wand: potentially... you'd need some tiny fuel injectors. The PeeWee V4 has a carburetor, this one isn't quite there yet. I'm excited to see if he does go that route -- and he should build a mini dyno to see the power output!

BTW the allege "smug" and "greens" jokes aren't jokes at all. It's just annoying.

Touché. I and my two new titanium-and-pyrolitic-carbon heart valves salute the concept, so long as the maintenance intervals are far enough apart...
