    Toyota did the two-door sport-cute thing with the RAV4. Ask me how many of those they sold: not many. Ask me how many they offer now.

    softroading is a way of life in Brazil. They power over half of the vehicle fleet by ethanol, so they don't have billions of tons of oil refinery by-products (tar, apshalt) to put on all the roads.


    this looks like an excellent vehicle configuration for any rural buyers.


    @Elhigh: price. a 2-door has to cost reasonably less than a similar 4-door. Surprised that Toyota screwed up so badly on that one.

    @my favorite car is a motorcycle: It was a nippy little car; being so much smaller and lighter than the 4-door it got halfway not-awful mileage. If I could find one, I'd buy that for my kids to drive.

    @six: You want a Camry? We can get you a Camry. How about something like a Camry? We got choices. If you want something like a Camry. Maybe something else will sell better next year and then we'll be able to get something more like an Accord.


    Can't blame them really, not much money to be made on the fringes. Aim for the center baby.

    Carlos is trying to explaine that GM was to late on the crossover market. Fiat has more than 10 years the Adventure line-up, Ford has the Ecosport, VW has the Crossfox for years and GM nothing. So I think they try to catch up with the new Astra

    I kinda like it. So the probability is high that it wouldn't sell here. I'm an army of 1.


    Not crazy about the interior as pictured but I like the basic design and stance.

    From the side profile it's similar looking to a mk1 3 door Focus that's been jacked up.

    @layabout: I think it looks more like an Astra GTC with new front, I´m allmost shure this is a teaser for the new Brazilian Astra
