    Y'know, you really ought to have to be over 21 to buy this car. Might save a lot of heartache, dashed expectations, and STDs later on.


    Not the worst pace car paint job by any means. But certainly carries on the tradition of being all show, and hardly any more go than you could get for thousands less, while saving your retinas.

    A top speed of XXX mph? Obviously a top-speed run is NSFW unless you're a cop on high speed pursuit or part of the U2 landing crew, but still I interpret two possible things from that. Either the top-end is pants-wreckingly high, or it's so unaerodynamic, it's like fucking a block of wind (I'd watch that porn).

    luckily for my eyes, Thursday's qualifying races and Saturday's Nationwide race (as well as yesterday's ARCA Re/Max race) will be paced by a much more tastefully painted Shelby GT500:


    however, Ford says they'll have a Fusion Sport on hand as "backup" for those races, and it's just as bad as the Homestead Fusion pace cars.

    The other day, I saw a Caprice Classic with a flame job that looked like it was done with a wire brush and no tape lines.


    Even that looked better than this.

    Okay, I am a GM fanboy, but that this point, I must admit: GM=Fail on this one.


    It really wasn't that hard. Arctic White with a pair of Hugger Orange stripes running down the middle. It was that simple. And so we get this instead? Nice car, terrible, horrible, god-awful paint job.


    How could this have happened on Lutz' s watch?

    @pauljones: I agree with you. That car is not bad at all, for a GM (sorry, I'm a Ford guy), but they really ruined it with that paint job.


    I guess they were just trying to fit in with Jeff "I Swear I'm Not Gay" Gordon's flamer paint jobs.
