    You know, after growing up in an import-centric area and not really paying attention to old domestic cars until well after most second-generation Camaros had been wrapped around telephone poles, the wheels on this Camaro make me think of the awful-looking "cookie cutter" wheels on some Malaise-era Porsches. Maybe I'd like them better with different paint, but I'm simply not digging the new Camaro's aesthetic.


    This car doesn't need fake Rallye wheels. It needs slot mags.

    @Bad Juju: Now THAT'S the kind of Rally Wheel they should have copied! Maybe a can of Argent Silver paint will improve this Camaro's rolling stock.

    They do remind me of the rally wheels that seemed to be optional on the Camaro, the metric chassis, and the S-10 all through the '80's. I'm down with the concept. Will have to see them in person.


    But the higher-profile tires definitely give me a Christmas chub.

    @danio3834: Tough luck. It probably doesn't even stall when you press the accelerator, then diesel for five minutes when you shut it off. Might even accelerate faster than a Corolla.

    @DannyBN: I know a guy who has a 76 Beetle with a set of those wheels that are on that Malibu (via wheel adapters). It's an interesting look.
