First up is the Jansen 88 Special — capable of lighting its tire tracks on fire at 88 MPH and hovering at around head height. We’ve never heard of a Jansen, so we can only assume that either Burnout Paradise players are more car savvy than we are, or it’s a slightly generified version of another, more legendary car. In addition to the DeLorean DMC-12 rip-off, the pack brings with it four other vehicles that could happen to resemble some of the most famous cars ever.

<![CDATA[Barack Obama Advertising Inside Online Racing Video Games, Attempts To Pick Up Crucial Xbox 360 Vote]]> Barack Obama has begun advertising on billboards within the virtual world of an online video game in what appears to be a first for a presidential campaign. Players of the online racing video game Burnout Paradise on the Xbox 360 Live network noticed billboards promoting Barack Obama and the website VoteForChange.com, which helps people determine how to register to vote and where to vote. This was later confirmed by a representative for the game's publisher, Electronic Arts, who said:

"Like most television, radio and print outlets, we accept advertising from credible political candidates. Like political spots on the television networks, these ads do not reflect the political policies of EA or the opinions of its development teams.”

<![CDATA[Burnout Paradise Demo Now Available on Xbox Live, with Extras!]]> The demo of the fifth installment of the Burnout series, Burnout Paradise, has hit Xbox Live as a free download for Xbox Live subscribers. Rumor has it there are some goodies within the demo. There are billboards scattered throughout the demo level that can be smashed through and will be counted. Rumor has it that there is a drivable Bumblebee rewarded for smashing through all of the billboards—nah, I'm just shitting you. I have no idea if there is a reward for smashing the billboards, but that would be sweet, right? [Kotaku]
