I wouldn't be surprized if they hit the 170 just to come back next year without modifications and break that with a 200 mph run.
All in all it's pretty cool. Any real Jalop can appreciate being different for the sake of being different, no?

It seems hard to believe that the steam powered record has been overlooked for so long. Nearly any car top that now. And the aerodynamics look rather crude compared to current practice for jet and piston powered record cars. It really looks like something Campbell himself would have felt right at home in. Still, I wish them great success.
