    I'll bet you $1.98 the worst driver is some entitled rich kid with a cellphone in her ear, a latte in her lap, and her head up her ass. Somehow it always works out that the combination of daddy's money buying Sweetie's car, daddy's money paying for Sweetie's electronic connectivity, and daddy's money paying for other distractions, always winds up adding up to a major pain in the ass for YOU. With Sweetie's fender up your nose.


    When you have to bust your own butt to pay for your own ride, you tend to be a bit more attentive to how it's used, maintained, and stored.

    I assume that they don't plan to research empirical data and assign weights to varying citations, and collisions and the resultant damage/injuries/fatalities.


    Quantitatively, the worst driver in America is fairly easy (though time consuming) to determine. It just wouldn't garner very high ratings as a television show.

    @Flathead Smith:My mother, may GOD rest her soul, was the absolute worst driver I think that there ever was. My father could not keep a grill in the front of the 1964 Plymouth Fury she tooled around in. Here is a typical scenario: I would be standing on the front passenger side seat with my arms hooked over the seat, like a king surveying his domain, looking out the open window, like all kids used to do. All of the sudden her arm would come up to try and stop my little body from slamming into the dash, as she rear ended the person in front of her. That never seemed to work so well. I would pick my self up off the floorboard and we would go and look at the damage. Several months later the process would be repeated. My father said my mother had a tendency to daydream no matter what she did.
