    If I had eight million dollars, it's probably likely I'll also have another eight to spend.

    So both!

    But wow, it's a damn hard choice. Probably the Dino? It's just so much more rare for a private collection!

    Daytona. Every time. I can park it in my garage. I don't have to rent a warehouse to store it. Or add a new 'museum' wing on to my house. I can use it to go places (hell, even see a T-rex skeleton at the museum down the street).

    But more than anything, just because it is a Daytona. The 3/4 of a 250 GTO is tempting, but it's a bit obvious, isn't it? The Daytona catches everyone by surprise...and then blows them all away.

    Where was I on this one? It was meant for me. This was the worst day to miss.

    This, boys, is the one that got away. The comment I should have commented on that I missed due to something entirely less important. This would have been my crowning achievement, but now, only my greatest regret.

    When I am old, in sixty years or so, and recount my glorious days of carefree Jalopnik commenting to my grandchildren, and they ask, "Grandaddy, did you ever comment on an article about dinosaurs AND cars?!" I'll sigh, and with a tear in my eye say "Bobby, break out the Tide. I just shit my pants."

    T-rex. It's more imposing when you have it in the lobby of you mansion. More so if you have a banner that says "Welcome to Jurassic Park" hanging above it. Heck, if I won the current mega millions jackpot, I'd probably hire Jeff Goldblum to hang around for functions and talk random nonsense to people.

    I'm withholding my answer until after this weekend. I've seen and sat in a Daytona, and I'll see Sue at the Field Museum on a quick trip to Chicago... a much more informed opinion to follow... (but I'm leaning towards the Daytona....)

    The thing is, someone will eventually dig up a more complete and better preserved T-rex skeleton than yours and you will no longer have the best.

    There is never going to be a better Cobra.

    And another thing, I think tomorrow is drive your original Shelby Daytona Coupe the Venetian and get a free T-Rex Skeleton day.

    I'll take the Daytona and name it Samson.

    The only way this T-Rex could hurt you now is by falling over on you. Not a great line for your obituary.
    The Cobra, on the other hand, has fiery, glorious, spectacular demise just an injudicious prod of the gas pedal away. That, will make your obit great reading. Because, Lord knows, no Jalop in their right mind would let that car just sit...

    Is this a trick question?! Have you checked up on the maintenance costs of a T-Rex? The food bill alone is ridiculous, and don't get me started on the poop removal. And liability insurance. And vet bills. And the time it takes to wash one. Yeah, they're cute when they're little, but once they grow up, they're a nightmare.

    I'll take the poisonous spitting Cobra, please.
