It's about time BMW made a genuine 1-off supercar again. Blend this with the M1 concept that appeared in recent months and I think we've got a winner.

mazda should take notes. It's ok to put a face on your car, if it is darth vader, not kirby.

Is there some rule that says all concept drawings have to have mail slot windows, big-ass wheels and giant wheel arches that will never hit the production model? Can we start to have concept drawings that might actually reflect something we will see on the streets.

Or... can someone actually start making these things like they are drawn?

    Either one.

@Superfast: Totally agreed re: the mail-slot windows. If it's not feasible for production, what's the point?

    Yes. Next question.

@pauljones: Yes, sir. It surely is. Slot the M3 powertrain in it, and I would struggle to not just completely lose control of all my bodily functions if it ever drove anywhere near me. and if I were to drive one, well, do you really have to ask?

It looks good, except the front corners where something weird is going on. See what happens when bangle is not involved in the design?

The first picture looks like it wants to eat me (or adversely, maybe an angry catfish).

However, it seems a little too swoopy to be a proper 4-seater coupe, I'd rather see this as a modern 507/Z8, and something with almost obscene amounts of greenhouse as a 6-series.
