1:34 p.m. Bernie pulls into the lot in a new Corvette (red, of course).
Director: Bernie, you're late!
Bernie: Let's do this!
Director: OK, you stand here. Bill get the bat for Bernie to hold. Sandy, get the... SANDY! SAAANDDDY! Yeah, you, sugartits! Get that lame Casey jersey for Bernie.
1:42 p.m. Bernie is positioned and holding the bat.
Director: Alright, let's give it a try and see how it goes.
Cameraman: Rolling.
Director: Action!
1:43 p.m.
Director: I don't know, the light looks a little off. Bernie's squinting a lot and didn't really nail his lines. There was a stumble there in the middle. Maybe if we tried... Where's Bernie?
(Door slam, engine fires up)
Director: Bernie, that was just the first run-through! You can't leave yet!
Bernie: I was paid to endorse a car lot. I've endorsed a car lot. Pinch hit homeruns in the World Series buy a lot of free blow and I've got a schedule to keep.

"In the 1975 World Series, huge favorite Cincinnati was looking for their first title since 1940. Boston also suffered a drought by not winning a Series since 1918. Both clubs battled back and forth, with the Reds winning three of the first five games. In Game 6, with two outs and two strikes in the 8th inning, Carbo's pinch 3-run home run tied the score at 6-all, paving the way for Carlton Fisk's legendary game-winning homer in the bottom of the twelfth for a 7-6 Red Sox victory. Carbo's pinch homer was his second of the Series, tying a Series record. Game 7, watched by an estimated 71 million TV viewers, saw the Reds triumph in the ninth inning on a bloop single by Joe Morgan for a 4-3 win. But Carbo's pinch-hitting heroics were not in vain. He saved himself from baseball anonymity with one of the most dramatic pinch home runs in post-season baseball history."

That being said, there's no way in hell I'd ever buy a car (especially a GM) from a stealership of any kind.
