Add one part Volkswagen Beetle to three parts route instructions, top it off with the open road, hope that Johnny Law is in the donut shop, and you have the makings of the Beetleball Endurance Rally Series!
After over 450 miles of oil was sprayed all over America's freeways, the Beetleballers (well most of them) arrived on the Las Vegas strip to complete the endurance rally.
The Beetleballers are revving the life out of their Volkswagen motors as they head through California, Arizona and Nevada on the way to Vegas with a quick stop in Amboy (if they can find it).
With a LeMans start (a sprint across the street on foot and then brief panic as you try to get the 40 year old Beetle to start) the 2009 Beetleball Long Beach to Las Vegas is underway!
The concept is simple, bring a Type 1, air cooled, VW, leave the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California and be the first one to the strip in Las Vegas, Nevada.
