    @layabout met the real Santa: I want to say something smartassed like, "radios don't have pictures, yo" but I can't assume you'd know that the "R" in "NPR" is radio.


    Damn, and now I'm not sure NPR doesn't have a video department or something.

    @layabout met the real Santa: There was (is?) a short TV series of "This American Life", and this seems like a perfect fit.


    Which is to say, I really just want to see some quality footage of this starting or driving.

    @kingedwin: TAL is, in my opinion, the best programming in the English speaking world right now. Radiolab comes very, very close, but the story selection and production on TAL is awesome. The NPR version and TV version on Showtime are both equally excellent.
