    Putting Rod Hall in the same category as most septuagenarians is like putting Paul Newman is the same category as most octogenarians.

    There are outliers in any population. These guys are two of them, Paul Newman covers multiple categories. An actor with other talent/skill. A very good actor at that.

    He did die, yes, but he was in his 80's when he did so, which was recently.

    Even dead, he's a better driver than many people, not just octogenarians.

    @dwegmull: I'm not sure that you can use a colon like that. If you had written "I guess this should read as follows:" I think it would have worked. I must check Strunk's Elements to be certain, however.

    @joshman - repeatedly clicking expand all: Don't try telling ME you can't use a colon like that. I'm a physician who has seen way too many people use their colon in ways which were not intended by the Gods... even the Greek ones...

    The caption says it's a V6 TDI. Are the photos of the base-model Baja racer? Is the V12 TDI only an option? And in typical VW fashion, will that engine option only be available with leather seats, satnav, a larger wheel-tire combo, and more chrome trim?


    Pedantry aside, when can we expect this V12 TDI in an AWD Jetta?
