    I was in Ikea yesterday, wondering how much of the showroom I could race through on a chair before I was thrown out. I mean, this is impressive, but cornering a chair takes real skill.

    @Ash78: I, too, give the guy credit for having some actual content in his banworthy "First" post, but thems the rules. Ignorance of the law is no excuse. (at least that's what the magistrate tells me)

    I heard a story about cadets at the Air Force Academy doing something called "terrazzo surfing" which involves sitting in an office chair holding a bedsheet between two ski poles to make a sale and sailing across the main plaza on campus (the "terrazzo"). Sounds like quite a bit of fun until your CO shows up.

    Not only will they race anything - they don't skimp on the creature comforts either. Check out the cupholder on the leader's chair. But I guess it only makes sense; if you're gonna race down a hill on an office chair, might as well have a 'froster' at your disposal.

    @Ash78: The Third Reich 1941 Bestseller, I heard. Famous for his rants about WoW, PS3 and Tesla Roadster, which have since been made into films by enterprising internet filmmakers.


    And it is relevant, since he was in a race with Mussolini to London. (He was a big Top Gear fan)

    @jpech: look at the picture carfully.. hes in mid-air off that little ledge of a jump. I don't know, however, if that qualifies as a sweet jump as I have never raced and office chair outdoors... inside a dorm hall is a different story.

    @Bullitt417: The guy's doing that in an office chair. I'd call any jump on a conveyance that isn't really meant to be jumped (much less raced) a 'sweet jump.'
