If you don't have the skills to park the car, maybe you shouldn't take it out in the first place.

If you don't know how use a manual clutch, you shouldn't be driving!
If you don't know how to use a manual choke knob, you shouldn't be driving!
If you don't know how to adjust the spark advance using a little brass lever on the steering wheel, you shouldn't be driving!
If you don't know how to hand-crank an engine, you shouldn't be driving!
There! I think I covered everything.

If you grind the gears in a '54 MG, you shouldn't be driving!

Most so-called "drivers" never had parallel parking skills. When I took my driving test (California) at 16 they made me parallel park on an empty road. Not exactly a challenge or a reason for a new driver to pick up the skill.

Seriously, this could save your car a ding or two if you are a city dweller and someone who lives in an area where parallel parking is not needed (country, suburbs) visits your city once or twice a year and decides to park in the spot in front or right behind you...
