Earlier this year, Audi's uber-coupe, the RS5, finally made the journey across the Atlantic to the USA. And boy oh boy, were we excited.

Ben Westwood, 33, had already robbed 16 different businesses across the U.K. by the time he led police on a 65-mile chase that reached speeds of up to 180 mph.

Europeans have been graced with this sporty machine's presence for some time, but now it crosses the pond. Audi fans can rejoice as the Audi RS5 hits US soil. It's our turn to give it a good, old fashioned thrashing, to see how it holds up.

Audi hasn't even delivered the Audi RS5 to the U.S. and already they've tweaked its face. If only they'd given it a new heart.

Not surprisingly, a slew of pics of the Audi RS5 übercoupe have leaked. No embargo's strong enough to hold back this brutish, 450 HP Euro barnstormer from the interwebs. Do similar easy-to-shed shackles keep it from coming stateside? Maybe.

We've seen the 2010 Audi RS5 running around in camouflage ahead of a Frankfurt unveiling, but the next-gen Audi RS4's been conspicuously absent in development. For good reason. It's probably not coming.
