    The things is, unlike the volt, the audi will probably be fun to drive - as many euro brands tend to unveil new technology in sporty packages.

    @MadcowsDiseased: Actually, the Volt mule was pretty entertaining to drive. Now, it wasn't a rocketship, but it had some scoot and it definitely could hold its own around a corner.

    09/09/03 Ingolstadt -- It is with great sadness and regret that Audi informs you of the untimely death of President Johan de Nysschen. He was killed accidentally Thursday afternoon during a design strategy meeting to discuss Audi's new "A million monkeys with a million shotguns" approach to pointillism-based design. However, Audi is also pleased to announce a new concept rendering for the upcoming R8 electric (pic).

    "Nobody will pay a $15,000 premium for a car with mostly VW parts" said Audi of America President Johan de Nysschen. "There are not enough idiots who will buy it. The R8 is a car for idiots. They're for the economically elite who want to show what rich assholes they are."

    Something about pooping in your own lawn, or biting the hand that feeds you, or when pointing fingers there's three pointed back at you, or glass houses and throwing rocks... anyway, this is a much better smack up-side the head for Mr. de Nysschen than anything we Jalops could devise.
