Where I live, deep in the South, people have no taste in cars. In fact, people here don't drive cars. Mostly they drive pickups, SUV's and pontoon boats. So I nearly crapped my pants a few weeks ago when I saw one of these (fully clothed) in real life. Not only that, but it was being hooned - er driven hard on the mountain roads near Chimney Rock, NC. It was a fleeting moment though, as it quickly warped into another county before I could grab my camera.
So, I went down to my Aston Martin dealer and asked him how much a DB9 would be. He said, "186,450." Now, my daddy taught me to never take the first price the dealer gave you. I mean, it's a car dealer. You're supposed to haggle, right? Well, things may have gotten out of control. But, I got me a DB9 for $90,000 out the door!
Wow, there is a LOT of space between the grille and the engine, I'm guessing maybe the production car puts a radiator in there? Either that or the DB9 is a miracle of air cooling, and no one bothered mentioning this to me.
