    @FurtiveParsnip: I took that to mean anything built in the US, Canada, Mexico, or anywhere else in North, South or Central America.


    So, basically, you can buy any product from Ford, GM or Chrysler. Most Toyotas and Hondas would also qualify. You can even get a few BMWs and Mercedes without breaking your promise.

    @FromaBuick6: You mean "could they have found a worse one" - excluding the Aveo, of course.


    The G6 is basically the Pontiac Sebring. Without some of the ugly styling touches, sure, but with the same cheapness, mediocrity, and odd proportions (though, to be fair, the G6 'vert doesn't have the Sebring's fat ass).

    @FurtiveParsnip: Having driven both (as rentals, naturally), I can confidently say the G6 is light years ahead of the Sebring. On one hand, it's too bad the average onlooker can't see that from the outside, but on the other hand, is there really a point in making that distinction when it's all rental cars anyway.

    @theeastbaykid: Oh yeah, in terms of powertrains and such, and probably even the more important interior bits, I have no doubt that the G6 is better.


    But when it comes down to it, that's the thing - the Sebring is a Chinese knockoff of an already mediocre car.
