When you have good action movies like Iron Man, Borne, Taken, District 13, why should they ask us to see crap like this. Why can't auto-buffs of the world stand up, and demand not only cool car chases and the occasional girl on girl make-out session, and get a good story with character development and realistic action? Why not??

Paul Walker claims a lot has changed, but he clearly hasn't gotten acting lessons at any point in the past seven years. So what is actually different?

I am trying to decide if its a good or bad thing that there is more muscle, particularly the Buick.

IMO, these movies are truly enjoyable only after disconnecting the center channel of your surround sound.

Is it just me or does this thing have a nasty under bite. My Rx-8 is a little awkward ugly but this looks too disjointed.

it's more 240Z shaped with a longer nose, which looks good now that I see it (not so bulldog) but if only you could get rid of those stupid corners of the lights. If I bought one I'd cover up those hookthings on the lights with a body-coloured piece of plastic.

I can see the 240Z in this one... reminds me of the 240Z concept from some years ago

But how much will it weigh...

And I really wish it had AWD but that is just a pipe dream.

@Adam: AWD means you would need to convert the drive system to compete with it in Formula Drift. Nissan will probly not pass up the opertunity for Tanner Foust to drive the new 370Z in Fomula Drift. That wold give the 370Z alot of positive publicity.

@Adam: They aren't going to steal the thunder from Godzilla by equipping the Z with AWD. Flagships are always closely protected.

    Do want, though.

@Andrew Didorosi: and the GT-R is ,although fast, is hard to drive very fun. The warrenty is voided if the traction control is switched off. The car is hard to slide, hard to make burnout, and hard to spin. It is fast but not fun. The Zcar has always been a fun car and that would end unless Nissan went insanely safety oriented.

@Adam: I'd say AWD is not what this car needs, particularly if you're concerned about weight.

I'd much rather have a well-sorted chassis, limited slip diff, and good tires and be 200 lbs lighter.

I've appreciated the 350 (and now 370) as sort of a Japanese Mustang. Relatively simple RWD performance without being a $50k lux-mobile.
