    Looks better then the one in which 4 people died in Ottawa some years ago. A local amphibious bus company expanded their fleet with cheaper float-equipped trucks, until one sank with fatal results.


    Also, more "duck tours" on Wikipedia.

    We have a couple of massive military amphibious vehicles by the docks in Bridgeport. They are used by construction companies in the area.


    I think there is a U.S. manufacturer of amphi-RVs. They look pretty cool. I don't think I would ever want one, save for escaping Zombies.


    You can armor it up, lightly, and then escape into the water to sail away to a remote island.

    @leavethegun-takethecannoli: Yeah they use "Ducks" here they're all painted up with "Ride the Duck!" and such. Kind of neat, but if it wasn't an old landing craft from WWII I don't think people would be as enthused.
