The story will be poignant, I am sure.
Wealth and fame are a curse.
Be happy if you aren't.

Also, if and when I die, please find a picture of me that wasn't taken with a crappy webcam or my old Nokia.
That makes me wonder. Has any of the commentariat died? I know people come and go but when they go, we never hear about it unless they tell us ahead of time.

I feel very sorry for his family. This sucks for them, no matter what the circumstances of his death.

That's fucked up. So of course I'm still laughing my ass off at it.
I'm just glad I'll have lots of company roasting in Dante's Easy-Bake.

RIP, let's hope Max doesn't ruin his funeral with Nazi s**t.
Unless he's to be cremated, in which case he'll just be Ash.

I don't have a huge amount of sympathy for people who can lead a life of tremendous luxury, philanthropy and leisure, but they choose to die from substance abuse. But if this guy croaked from a weak heart, then I feel sorry for the family. Conditional condolences is what its called.

Drug overdose....pfft.......he was probably beaten to death, or choked out, by a hooker. Like father, like son.
Too soon?

Unfortunately/fortunately (depending on how you look at things), they are probably right.

I have to admit erotic asphyxiation and violent death were at the top of my list of initial reactions upon reading the headline. Drug overdose is far less romantic these days, but equally plausible, given wealthy pseudo-celeb's proclivity for self-destruction.
I've never heard of Max's son before this(perhaps I'm not as informed as I should be), the guy might have been a penniless saint for all I know. While it's speculative to conclude the guy died a bizarre death I feel the public reaction (including my own) is anecdotal evidence of the jaded negativity that permeates modern society. Max, a wealthy and powerful guy, showed demonstrable sexual appetites outside the mainstream; therefore, the popular reaction is for Max's son to have died a death befitting a crack addled pedophile (apologies to "crack-heads".) What does this say about us as a society?
Should it be determined Alexander died a vicious death, I will feel pity and sorrow for his soul; which I will also assume (among a great many other things) was ultimately searching for happiness.
I could never wish this sort of loss and public embarrassment on even my most hated enemy. However, it's not hard to imagine many will be jubilant at the news, if for no other reason than hatred for Max. While my condolences go out to Alexander's family, friends and parents, I can't bring myself to moisten my eyelids over the affair. I will reserve my tearful mourning for news stories of helpless infants, thrown from speeding cars on the highway like some spent cigarette.

Ultimately, we can only hope that in death both souls will find peace.
