    My first thought was "so this is what the Top Gear camera men do in their off time", then I saw the "TopGear.com" slide flash up and was like "this is what the Top Gear camera men do in their time off".


    But there's that "Made in America" bit... could it be this is some sort of viral for Top Gear US?


    I know NBC, or whoever it was, decided not to go through with it, but they're still shopping it out to cable networks or this could have been done as some sort of "look what we can do" piece for an ad agency trying to get some contract.

    Awesome as that was, I'm wondering about the video player. I have a slower connection speed and that played back without stuttering in near-DVD quality. Vimeo?


    By contrast, I no longer watch Daily Show clips because their video player is so much garbage.

    It's amazing how such simple techniques such as Vignettes, slow motion, and adjustment of curves to boost color and sharpness, all paired with High definition cameras, can produce such an orgasmic video of such fine automobiles.

    I don't know when it originally came out, but I first saw it (one) at the original 2001 Porsche Rennsport Reunion at Lime Rock Park. It's the W3 Triposto, a sort of 928 spyder three-seat kit car, I guess: www.w3triposto.com
