@brandegee: Without the slightest doubt in my mind, the Tempo. Actually, I wouldn't be too surprised if the only vehicle to survive the apocolypse is in fact, the diesel-powered Tempo.
I almost love it, but VW did most of the work. That's both good and bad.
I know it's sacrilege, but I really like the looks of the 4-door Golfs more than the 2-door (in the MkV and MkVI versions). Makes the car more competitive with the MS3, as well.
I usually have a problem with body kits since they usually destroy the best parts of a vehicle's body design while accentuating the worst parts. This one doesn't. It looks good. You know it has some body mods, but they aren't overdone. In fact, the changes are pretty cool -- the redone intakes on the front look aggressive but not ridiculously so, the tailpipes are pretty much four-popped-collars cool.
I like it. This gets the engineerd Seal of Approval (eSoA patent pending).
Sort of a rolling mound of evil in that first shot.
They should go ahead and make the rims full diabolical pentagrams, possibly with a tiny devil head in each one. Yeah, I know, it's not a Diablo but there are just too damned few evil icons. Maybe little pitchforks--nah, Maser already has that. See? Out of icons.
Oh, come on... there are indeed appropriate evil icons for this:
1.) Four-in-a-row of little conjoined Death Stars.
2.) Conjoined Sun, Moon, Evil Eye, and Crop Circle.
3.) A replacement brand graphic of a werewolf, blood dripping from his fangs, saying: "AwoooooOOOOOOdi!"
4.) A severed Prancing Horse's Head.
Prepare ship for ludicrous speed! Fasten all seatbelts, seal all entrances and exits, close all shops in the mall, cancel the three ring circus, secure all animals in the zoo!
By the way, Ben, it's nice to know the new wheels are new. There's nothing worst than ordering new new wheels and getting some used new wheels instead...

@Formerlythegreatestdriver: I think the Vader make over would have been complete if they blacked out the wheels too. A bit too "chromey" for my liking.

@SlowMo (actually, there's no E on my R): I know. Tell me about it! It's people like Ash who always screw up the test score curves in my classes and get me a big shoeing from the profs.
Impressive. Most impressive. OBD-II has taught you well. You have controlled your A/F ratios. Now, release your anger. Only your hatred can destroy me. Or perhaps the repair bills. Whatev.

Why does every car these days have to shout "look at me?" I do miss discreet performance. Maybe I am getting old.
Some simple style to balance out the ABT Golf.
