Myself being someone who enjoys cars, especially car design, this comes as something quite depressing. I suppose the upside to this is that she's not a spoiled status seeker, she just has horrible taste.
On a non "personal stories" note, I cant tell if the interior is somehow cutting edge and Im not realizing it, or if it's just intentionally crap. Id expect to see that in a Honda Civic, or some odd Franco-mobile. Gotta hand it to Toyota, when they go weird, they give it their all.

They want to be coddled. With heated seats with massaging functions and 9.75 million different seat positions, one for everybody, because if someone, somewhere, was a little uncomfortable or a little bit "offed" because their optimum seat position was .55 millimeter away from the front, uggh, perish the thought.
Their design must be so bland, you can not tell cars apart. They only build hybrids because a fortune teller told them that in the future, everyone would drive them. Then Lexus wouldn't have a hybrid! They would be. .perish the thought- DIFFERENT! AHHH! So, away they went.
So, is what I'm saying is that eventually, Lexus will be building only one model. See a concept sketch below.

Arguably, also appropriate.

Not that I've actually done two out of those three things with mine, just sayin'.

No driver's car fun with the 400H, but is so damn relaxing cruising in it..

Not that it'll bother the legions of middle-aged white women who drive these, but it's odd.

Yay, something smaller to pair with the Toyota Bland Cruiser. The crowd cheers wildly. Yay.

Also, "Bland Cruiser" is win.
