Never seend one of these. I'm assuming those things in the middle are the intake manifold. The question is why so tall?

    Cheers

Little known fact - The best way to reinsert the cams in one of these is using gear-head spunk as assembly lube. The problem is, of course, not acquiring it: the issue lies in the classic faux pas of using FAR too much of it during reconstruction.

I really like this "series" - keep it coming!!!

With those kind of revs, I assume it's a flat-plane crank? Or maybe not, since it's a 90* block?

I had no idea that the intake runners on the 360 were so long, but I guess I should have expected it due to the high-RPM nature of the engine.

And those intake plenums are awful sexy too.

I'm biased, but I still think Yamaha's 3.0 and 3.2 SHO engines had the sexiest intake manifold. No, it doesn't have the cache of a Ferrari, but the old bundle of snakes was still a site to behold.

I'd still like to go back and buy one to mount on the wall or make a glasstop coffee table out of.
