My first (only) slot car set had a Ferrari Dino 206SP (basically a slightly smaller P3/P4 with a V6) and Porsche 906 Carrera.....and, just like in real life, the Porsche always beat the Ferrari.

@laylaholic: Agreed. A few too many instances of decel on a straight, and acceleration on corner entry. A couple of times, when the engine note crescendoed just past the apex, and pulled through the corner onto the straight, it was magical.
@smalleyxb122: You do realize that the "real" soundtrack is being synced up with the "live" slot cars right? I was a video editor for 8 years, and it's not easy to do this.

I understand that audio from a race isn't going to sync with video of a slot car. I don't think that I was complaining. I love the few instances where the audio seemed to match.
