Buying a midsize sedan is like buying a pair of men's loafers; lots of choices but few anyone would get excited about unless you're spending bank. There's the new Honda Accord, the perennially boring Toyota Camry, the nicely warrantied Hyundai Sonata, and the gorgeous Ford Fusion. It seems the Mazda6 was all forgotten.

Of all the cars racing in the 24 Hours of Daytona today, few have generated as much attention, controversy and even lust as the diesel Mazda6 racecar. We love diesels for their torque and fuel efficiency, and we love them even more when they can put 400 horsepower to the rear wheels like this one can.

One of the best pieces of news to come out of the LA Auto Show was that the diesel powered 2014 Mazda6 would be making it's way to American shores.

Don't put in that order for a Ford Fusion just yet — for the same money you can get an equally sexy 2014 Mazda6 that gets the same MPG! Wait, hm. This is going to be tough.

Remember how excited we were yesterday when we heard the Skyactiv-D Mazda6 was coming to America? For those of you that don't, we were very excited.

The curtain has been pulled, and the Mazda6 has been debuted again, this time at the Paris Motor Show. This is the Mazda6 wagon's first official appearance, and we must say, both models are looking sexy.

When Mazda debuted the sexy new Mazda6 sedan at the Moscow Auto Show in late August, they did so with a video that showed the decidedly un-beige midsizer driving through the desert accompanied by cellists playing a Kinks song.

The 2014 Mazda6 just "debuted" in Russia at the Moscow Auto Show. Everyone's already seen the car so the "debut" is sort of like a born-again virgin having sex again… for the first time! Still, we'd hit that.

It looks like the Takeri concept really did anticipate the new Mazda 6, and we couldn't be happier. This is one pretty face.
