The liquid helium-cooled door-mounted 728cc engine would give 87 kilometres per litre of shampoo, and the bonnet would double as a vegetable patch.
Children would be able to draw accurate likenesses in crayon from the age of 1.

"Hey! It's the new Pontiac GTO! Sure, it looks nothing like the old GTO, and it's actually a re-badged Holden, but we just don't care anymore. Now buy one so we don't go broke."

And I wonder if they will go faster in reverse than any forward gear?

But if it corners like a banshee, yet rides like its shocks are filled with Fluff, maybe we can talk.
At least it will still kneel down like a camel when you turn it off, right?

I blame the nationalized healthcare system.

Wait... no, that's Canada.
But hey, at least it's free. Kind of.

Now, as part of that "new strategy", I can't help but wonder are they going to: a.) improve their build quality, and b.) come to North America?
(If that's answered in the press release, someone feel free to enlighten me... it was too long and boring for me to pay attention. Rather like a French movie.)

and the new logo works well with the design language, but i really miss the days when the dual chevrons looked like they could cut glass. now that i think about it, the logos are the exact essence of the design language. cool. but original the original DS and SM are cooler.

No, there is not. Eurocars that are too hard to pronounce don't make it in the US.

Those tréma (umlauts) over the "e" are there specifically to point out the need to pronounce both vowels when otherwise you would not.
So it would be silly to say sih-TROHN, when it can easily be pronounced properly in three syllables, sih-TROH-en, and sound like you know.
To me it's just like the porsh/por-SHAH situation.

Doesn't mean you shouldn't try to get it right though.

do you know why you hate the french?
02/06/09
Seriously though, I just hate the new logo. What was wrong with the old one? It was nice and pointy, and integrated beautifully with the grille in a way no other manufacturer could figure out. Don't change things for change's sake.
