    Demand for car-sized freezers in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia has increased by a factor of 20 after the recent news that Toyota are going to produce their new overpriced supercar in limited volumes in ice, and that it is the new "cool" thing to own for Sheikhs and if you didn't have one, you couldn't hang out with the cool kids. #lexuslfa

    This reminds me of an item in my 'Insane things to do if I win the Lottery' file: 'Busa V8, torque tube, Porsche transaxle, Reliant Scimitar. I know, I know, costs as much as a new Ferrari, stupid idea, probably end up with nothing but THE most expensive pile of broken PCH components EVAR, but can you imagine? #lexuslfa

    If only for the confusion factor, I'd have used Lexan. Which, when the wacky-named brand was first introduced, is what I kept finding myself calling Lexus.

    The other guys held back, nervous, hands behind their backs to better resist the temptation to reach out and touch the mighty tube of torque.

    "Just look at that," one of them murmured (except in Japanese).

    "Yes," said another, "It's length is so great the photographer cannot get the whole shaft in focus. I fear this."

    The other nodded. "I'm too distracted and shaky to even take a picture of it."

    "You should, though. No one will believe you."

    But Ray, the outsider, the confident one, placed one tanned and discreetly manicured hand on massive drive shaft. "Just imagine it in action, boys. Twisting and turning and thrusting. Driving those wheels forward until the tires smoke. Shoving all that upholstered, fine mass of a Lexus relentlessly forward toward that horizon of joy we all seek."

    Suddenly, he realized he was alone. He looked around. "Hey! Anybody got a smoke?" #lexuslfa

    I'd expect them to streamline that casing substantially, cutting it way back to the essentials, for the export market to Israel.

    I wonder if the LFA, when driven too aggressively and slid around corners, will turn into a minibus? #lexuslfa
