Srsly.
Imagine the transformative effect a little Chapman thinking could have on US domestic products.... Less is more.

it has come to my understanding, no matter how much i love loti, they are the automotive industries equivalent of a high class whore...

Derivative. I like the styling, but would be more impressed if Dodge rolled out something more of their own making. Even if it wasn't as good, I'd respect it more.

I have noticed lately that Headlamps, Tail lamps, Rear Trunk Lids, and roof pillars don't seem to match up with the overall design of the car anymore. An example, take a Honda Accord (the US version). The rear end is a mess (as I was stuck behind one lately in a traffic jam). The rear lamps protrude past the rear fender, to make the lamp look larger. The rear glass doesn't contour with the "D" pillar of the roof, with a mini flying buttress effect at the base of each pillar. And what's with the lower lip of the trunk panels not lining up with the bumpers?
Regardless of all that, this is a great looking car, but I doubt it will ever see the light of day. It reminds me of Studebaker when it was on it's death bed, producing the Avanti.

It's easier to control quality on a low volume vehicle, and will give much needed miles on the drivetrain to determine the feasibility of adapting the drivetrain to a volume vehicle.
Even on a low volume seller, they might take a loss on each sale given early production costs, but if you're going to lose $100 on each electric car you sell, would you rather sell 1000 cars, or 100,000 cars?

Of course, they will require that the ev's will have to go 400 miles on a charge, cost less than $20k and charged by the wind it produces as you drive it.

"Anyone else sick of the dodge 'cross hairs' style front end besides me..?"
The first thing I would do if I bought one, would be remove that stupid thing.

I'm tired of the crosshairs.
Ford's at least changing it up with the gillette thing and trying different things, the crosshairs have been with us since the 90s. It's betting a little long in the tooth. And I'm sick of Pontiac nostrils, too.

To be fair, though, when it's less than a foot tall and body-color, it's not that bad.
