    This is good, but to achieve perfection Mazda must build:


    1) An MX-5 with a rotary.

    2) An AWD Mazdaspeed3.

    3) An RX-8 with the 2.3 turbo 4.

    The front is edgy, but it definitely edges on adorable... in all the quarter, side, and rear views, though, it looks positively racy.


    Are they still doing a speed6? I'd be very, very interested in that--I've seen two or three new Mazda 6es around, and they look so very slick.

    @Fourstring85: That was the first improvement I could think of, so thanks for making it a reality.


    I like it much better that way. A nice contrast to all the upturned cues.

    @Syrax supports engineerd's star: Ugh, my E36 had a M badge right in the kidney when I got it. I think it lasted a day before I took it off. I'm not sure if you guys are being sarcastic, but non-stock grille badges = tacky. I could do without the stock ones, too.

    @seoultrain:Agreed, non-stock are tacky. Stock ones look cool. Look at that RS6. the badge wasn't in the kidney in that E34. I've seen what you're describing in a M5.

    @skitter: I don't really like bumper stickers much, and I vowed never to put anything else on besides my Apple and "renew orleans" stickers, but that is a great idea.


    Especially if I put a Hemi in it.

    Ugh, I just can't make myself like the front of that thing. That said I love the Mazdaspeed3 and my hope is that I can find a nice used 1st gen MS3 at a significant price reduction.


    On the other hand I'll be patiently waiting to see what aftermarket does with this one.

    It's a good thing I'm not in charge of brand names for Mazda. Instead of the Mazdaspeed3, this would be the Mazda 3 Bob Ross Edition.


    I am diggin' this car, though. I wish the hot hatch wasn't such a niche market in the US.

    The front grill might look better if it is color-matched to the rest of the car, but aside from that, I think this car looks great. I'm impressed.

    What a lobotomized grin that thing has. The hole in the forehead adds to this imagery. Even though lobotomists usually went through the nose.

    @tonyola: When sickness brings you suddenly down from eighteen to three cigarettes per day, and you have one of those three, it tends to make you pretty damned lightheaded. You've succeeded in genuinely freaking me out a little. I'm compelled to ♥ you for it, but I'm not entirely sure why.
