That's some awful awful sound editing. Near the 1:20 mark, the car is cruising, but they inserted a soundtrack of the engine revving really high and changing gears twice. WTF!? #lexuslfa
Toyota, do not listen to the naysayers. Listen to me. You have crafted a true supercar; for that I salute you. Above a certain level of the fantastic, the differences are academic. 550 hp is a poor, soulless definition of the potential to make vision blur and thump open the valves of the heart on each beat.
But mere control over this potential pales compared to a connection that could transfer even a taste of this energy through our fingertips. We do not want command and obedience, we want to capture the scream of 9000RPM with every sense and be able to call it back at any time.
Any car is ultimately defined by the experience. You have applied this lesson well in your legendary dealership experience. Give us the same focus and intensity, give us passion in your bread and butter, day to day, and we will adore you.
It's nice, but this is a $100-150K tops car. It just doesn't have the cache that marques like Ferarri or Lamborghini have. You can get a Murcielago for $100K less. You can get a Ford GT for 250K less... Or you can get this overblown dishwasher from Toyota.

I love the looks of this car. I realize why a lot of people would hate on it, but come on, it's a supercar. If it didn't look ridiculous, it would never be able to join the ranks of the true supercars. My current favorite supercar is a Zonda, and look at that thing. I love its hideousness for what it is, and the same goes for this beast. I can't seem to get enough of this thing! #lexuslfa
Ugly front, ugly rear, 3 exhaust exits (we bashed another car for that before, you may remember this), not-too-impressive-for-the-price performance... Blah. I don't care how it sounds, it just doesn't justify the cost. For $400,000 I could buy a faster Lamborghini and say "I have a Lamborghini" instead of "I have a Lexus, but it's not what you think!" #lexuslfa
